Astron’s Lake Anna, Virginia outdoor test range is capable of handling fixed, mobile or airborne testing of antennas in a very “low” noise environment for optimum accuracy of signal capture. The range is conveniently located just 2 hours south of the Dulles International Airport and west of Richmond Virginia. It is fully staffed with technical personnel and the necessary test equipment to handle most requirements. Working with you, Astron can “custom” design an ATP or follow your pre-approved ATP from test through data analysis which can be given finalized in multiple formats. Astron has several distinct ranges available; they include but are not limited to:
Range 1: 1.5MHz to 50MHz
Range 2: 20MHz to 150MHz
Range 3: (Slant Range): 30MHz to 500MHz
Range 4: (Elevated Range): 200MHz to 3GHz
In addition to the Lake Antenna test facility, Astron also has a fully equipped outdoor short range (100MHz and up) and an anechoic chamber (800MHz. - 25GHz.) located at its’ corporate headquarters in Sterling, Virginia.
