The RS7000 uses a modular system with many possible configurations. The basic system is composed of an E1050 receiver hardware configuration and the E1090 core acquisition software. This is then integrated with options for platforms such as off-road trailers or an air-mobile pallet configuration for military vehicle mounting and with options for antennas and mast configurations.
OVERALL DESIGN OBJECTIVE
Rapidly changing requirements for spectrum monitoring require a modular system that provides easily updated hardware and software along with options for platforms, masts, and antennas.
The RS7000 is built around an innovative architecture that provides a very high volume of high resolution data to a feeder and control server. The system is designed specifically without the need for signal acquisition control by the user, but rather for the user to configure the application to accept as much data as necessary from the feeder server to support his requirements. Interfaces to throttling mechanisms are provided to easily enable this capability.
Signal survey requirements are easily supported with the system. As a starting point, the basic software provides a turnkey solution that supports a survey and database collection and creation tool. |
